The certification puts Odyssey in the running for Newsweek\u2019s 2024 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/rankings\/most-loved-workplaces-america-2023\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces<\/a>\u00ae, organized by the publication and BPI.<\/p><p>\u201cWorking in logistics is about creating deeper, meaningful connections in the world,\u201d said Hans Stig Moller, chief executive officer at Odyssey. \u201cWe take this core belief to heart within our organization, too. How can we create stronger connections between our employees? How can they feel connected with our company\u2019s mission? I\u2019m delighted that Most Loved Workplaces has recognized our dedication to tackling these very questions.\u201d<\/p><p>Odyssey\u2019s certification follows several efforts to bolster company culture. These include:<\/p><ul><li>A company-wide survey on employee satisfaction<\/li><li>New training programs to support emerging talent<\/li><li>The \u2018One Odyssey\u2019 initiative \u2014 which centralized 15 previously siloed business units back under a single company identity<\/li><\/ul><p>\u201cWhile we are honored by BPI\u2019s recognition, we\u2019re just getting started,\u201d said Laura Sheehy, Chief Human Resources Officer at Odyssey. \u201cWe are committed to continuously enhancing Odyssey\u2019s culture to ensure it remains an inspiring environment for our incredible employees\u2014and for top talent looking for a company that truly values them and their contributions.\u201d<\/p><p>Backed by BPI, in its original research that created MLW criteria, Most Loved Workplaces surveyed more than 175 companies and more than 3,000 executives across the United States, the Middle East\/Northern Africa, and Southeast Asia. They found that productivity rises as employee sentiment increases, with 94 percent of responders saying they did three to four times more work for a company they loved and 95 percent saying they stayed at companies they loved three to four times longer.
